Choose words people will actually type
- Short and specific: one word, easy to spell on a phone

Comment-to-DM questions
Is comment-to-DM allowed by Instagram?
Yes. Mtschat uses Instagram’s official Messaging API, which supports private replies to people who comment on your posts. We only message people who started the interaction, and we never ask for your password or log in as you.
Why does the DM use a button instead of sending the link straight away?
Tapping the button counts as a reply, which opens Instagram’s 24-hour messaging window. Inside that window Mtschat can deliver the link and any follow-up messages, and the tap gives you a clean click to measure.
Does it work on Reels and stories?
Comment-to-DM works on your posts and Reels. Story replies have their own ready-made template, which works the same way: someone replies, Mtschat answers in their DMs.
Can I change what the DM says after it’s live?
Yes. Edit the template in the Flow Builder and publish again. Version history keeps earlier versions, so you can restore one if the change doesn’t work out.
Can I use more than one keyword on the same post?
Yes. Add as many trigger words as you like, or send each keyword down a different path in the Flow Builder.
