No. You can start from a ready-made template such as “Auto-DM links from comments”, or build your own automation on the drag-and-drop Flow Builder. Developers can use the REST API and webhooks, but they are optional.

A professional Instagram account — Business or Creator. Personal accounts can’t use Instagram’s Messaging API, but switching to a professional account is free and takes a minute in the Instagram app.

Most people publish their first automation in a few minutes: connect Instagram, pick a template, choose a keyword like “GUIDE”, add your link and publish. Mtschat flags any loose ends before anything goes live.

Yes. Mtschat uses Meta’s official Instagram API, never logs in as you, and only replies to people who contacted you first. That is how Instagram intends businesses to automate messages, so your account stays compliant.

Never. You connect through Meta’s own login screen and approve specific permissions. Mtschat receives an access token, not your password, and you can revoke it at any time.

Instagram lets a business message someone for 24 hours after that person’s last message. Mtschat keeps sequences and broadcasts inside that window automatically, which is why broadcasts only reach contacts who messaged you in the last 24 hours.

No. Instagram’s rules only allow businesses to message people who initiated contact — by commenting, replying to a story or sending a DM. Mtschat does not offer cold outreach, and that protects your account.

No. Mtschat is an independent company that builds on Instagram’s official API. Instagram and Meta are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc., and Mtschat is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Someone comments your keyword on a post or Reel. Mtschat posts a public reply and sends them a DM with a button. Tapping the button opens Instagram’s 24-hour messaging window, and Mtschat then delivers your link.

Yes. The Team Inbox lets automations hand conversations off to a person, with routing rules, @mentions of teammates and role-based permissions. Seats depend on your plan: 1 on Free, 2 on Starter and 10 on Advanced.

Every plan, including Free, has every feature. Plans differ only in active contacts, channels, seats and support: Starter is $11/month for 1,000 active contacts and unlimited automations; Advanced is $139/month for 25,000 active contacts, 3 channels, 10 seats and priority support.

Yes. You can cancel whenever you like, and you won’t lose your data. If you need more than 25,000 active contacts, contact our sales team for larger volumes.

You do. You can export contacts as CSV at any time, and we use your data only to provide the service. Our privacy policy explains the details.

Delete individual contacts in Mtschat, or close your workspace to have its data removed. You can also email privacy@mtschat.com with a deletion request.
